ON YOUR LAND

For our forests to grow forever, we need to plant them on our land.

Do you want to share your land with us?

We buy agricultural land (of the lowest categories) and wasteland.

Or maybe you would like a Forever Forest to grow on your own land?

It is possible, but let’s make it clear:

this forest can never be sold or cut down!

PLANT A FOREST TOGETHER WITH YOUR FRIENDS

Family, friends, acquaintances, neighbors, mates. Just look around and you will easily discover several hundreds of people who could plant a forest with you. We will help you buy land, we will provide you with tree seedlings and together we will plant a Forever Forest.

Liked the idea? If so, find other people who could help you! Together, think about how to introduce the idea to your relatives and friends. Set up a group, create a joint mailbox, organize an event.

If among your relatives or friends there is no one who could share their land, you will need to collect a lot of money to buy it. Think about the ways you can organize it. Sometimes it is enough to say you are doing so and give people your account number. Or maybe you could do a fundraiser? Or collect money to your lovely piggy banks?  How about organizing an auction of things you don’t need anymore? Or a concert? Or a fair? You could ask people to donate their unexpected bonuses or do a birthday fundraiser on Facebook. And there is always the old good Christmas – you could collect money for the entire forest under your own Christmas tree!

Forests grow slowly. Preparations for planting a forest are also time consuming. Collecting the money can take several weeks or months. Then you still need to find and buy the land, do all the formalities. And you will have to wait for late autumn or early spring, because this is when the trees root best. But at the end, it’s just a sheer pleasure!

We deliver the seedlings and plant a Forever Forest together. And then you have to name it!

PLANT A TREE IN YOUR MINICIPALITY

Municipalities are the great landowners in Poland. The people who influence what’s happening in each municipality are us, their inhabitants. We could plant a forest just next to your place, but we need your commitment. You have to gather other people who live in the area, find a piece of land and obtain a permit for its afforestation. We will take care of the seedlings, we will show you how to plant them and together we will plant a Forever Forest!

To start with, find a few people (minimum 5), because forest planting is a team sport. It is also important that you always come in a group to speak to your local authorities. It makes it a community initiative. Go to the appropriate District Authority Office: to the head of the land registry department. This is where you will find more information about appropriate land, which needs to be owned by the municipality (and thus its inhabitants). Great areas are wastelands, the surroundings of sewage treatment plants, landfills, areas around noxious facilities. Look around your municipality, go for a walk. Take into consideration that such an area must be at least half a hectare large – a forest needs to have enough trees in it!

When you find the right place, write a petition to your local authority to make this area a forest. Collect at least 50 signatures for your letter – there are a lot of great people in the schools, always ready to help! Submit your petition to the office and remember to keep the confirmation of your submission. You will have to come back with it again. You will have to ask, call every week, return. Nothing will happen without a little bit of pressure. Remember to always visit your local authorities as a group. Monitor your petition until a decision is made.

When a positive decision is made, we will start planting the forest. Contact us and we’ll work out what to plant and when. You will probably have to wait a while as forests are only planted in late fall and early spring. We will prepare seedlings, bring them and show you how to plant them, and at the end we will fence the area, because a freshly planted forest must be protected from animals that love young shoots.
